What an amazing table! This beautiful coffee table, complete with neo-classical base and sunburst veneered top, lifts straight up and locks in place at standard dining height to provide additional seating for 4-6 people when your dining room table is not quite enough. Ingenious design and quality craftsmanship make this a wonderful buy. Made in USA by the  Heritage Furniture Company, table measures 48″ diameter and 18″H (coffee table) or 31″H (dining table).

The third in our Conant Ball table collection (see previous entries), this is a solid maple country tilt-top table, probably made c 1950. A few blemishes on top (which add charm and character) but otherwise in great condition.  They just don’t make tables like this anymore!  33″Diam x 28″H.

The second piece in our Conant Ball collection (see previous entry for info on Conant Ball), this sweet little table is made of solid maple and boasts a beautifully carved apron and graceful curved legs. Excellent condition, perfect in front of a small settee or loveseat.                    20″W x 28″L x 16″H.

We have just acquired a nice collection of vintage tables made by thye Conant Ball Furniture Company of Gardener, Mass.  This company, founded c 1852,  produced high quality, mostly maple, colonial-style pieces. In the 1930’s ,when designor Russell Wright began working with them, they began making art-deco and mid-century modern styles. They went out of business in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century. Pictured here is a graceful candle stand, in excellent condition save for a few blemishes on the top.  19″ diam x 27″H. Lovely lines, quality craftsmanship.
